CLINICAL LEAD -
CLIFTON SPRINGS OUTPATIENT CLINIC
Under general supervision of the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic Manager, the Clinical Lead serves as the day-to-day subject matter expert for the team. The Lead provides support and training to staff regarding procedures and work expectations. Provides back up to the manager. Provides clinical services including assessment, individual, group, and family counseling, psychotherapy and other treatment modalities within a trauma informed, recovery oriented and evidence-based framework with clients who have mental health and substance use disorders. Demonstrates strong clinical judgement in assessment, application of diagnostic criteria, clinical formulations and sound triage decisions. Provides counseling/therapy with clients requiring complex intervention, including those who are suicidal, homicidal or exhibit life-threatening behaviors; determines necessity for involuntary commitment and arranging for admission. Completes assessments, manages a caseload, completes treatment plans and obtains authorization for services.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct clinical services Provides high quality documentation and adherence to agency guidelines Provides clinical and administrative oversight of the clinic in the Manager's absence. Provides onboarding training and additional training as needed for clinical staff. Assists the Manager in promoting best practices and ensuring quality client care. Maintains ethical standards May provide clinical supervision Demonstrates clinical and professional leadership presence consistently Role models and ensures staff provides excellent customer service to clients/families, staff and visitors Assists in maintaining environmental safety and therapeutic milieu for staff and clients/families REQUIRED QUALIFICAITONS
Current Georgia licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor or Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Two years of related work experience, computer proficiency and ability to multi-task Demonstrates competency in using evidenced based treatments for addictive diseases and mental illness Ability to work from and promote a person-centered, recovery oriented, and trauma informed philosophy in client care. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CPCS or ACS if licensed as an LPC. WORKING CONDITIONS
Works indoors in an outpatient clinic 8:15am-5:00pm with some evening or weekend hours (as determined by clinic needs) Ability to use an Electronic Health Record as well as a telehealth application (as allowed by regulations) Sessions may be in person or via telehealth (audio/visual) as appropriate for each client May be required to physically assist clients, may need to carry objects up to 10 pounds. **Please note that due to the high volume of applications we have received, we regret to inform
