617-824-2689 ! Description Traveling Superintendent - Retail Construction - NC/SC will be responsible for: Establishes staging plans and manages site logistics and workflow. Reviews subcontractor scopes of work, submittals and invoices and provides feedback to Project Manager for compliance and coordination. Assists Project Manager in job cost reporting and budget control. Collaborates with Project Manager in maintaining and updating construction schedules to identify and solve problems in pre-construction meetings prior to mobilization. Prepares daily reports, safety reports, schedules and supervises completion of final punch lists. Orders materials and schedules inspections as required or needed. Assists with recruiting and hiring needs. Trains field crew members, project engineers and junior superintendents and conducts safety orientations. Promotes job site safety and ensures employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy and regulatory requirements. Rectifies any job site hazards immediately. Conducts weekly safety and progress meetings. Maintains a clean, organized job site at all times including the construction office. Performs other job duties as assigned and/or required.
