Michael Page is patterned with a well-established General Contractor with over 40 years in business. They are seeking to add a skilled Sr. Project Manager to their team. Client Details The client has been in business over 40 years and has a great reputation as one of Maine's leading Design Build contractors. Our client works across Maine, delivering high-quality projects that range from $2M to $10M and they cover a diverse project portfolio. Description The Senior Project Manager, Construction, is responsible for the following: Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. Oversee and provide guidance on projects to junior Project Managers and staff. Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities related to construction projects. Lead and/or assist with estimating potential projects Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Communicate with Superintendents to ensure job schedule and project is on track Monitor and control projects through administrative direction Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings. Work with contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the customer. Profile The Senior Project Manager Candidate will possess the following skills At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry Monitor and control projects through administrative direction Established relations with subcontractors Experience in projects up to $25M preferred Experience in both renovation and ground up building Variety of project experience preferred BA in construction related field Strong communication skills and organizational skills
