Job Description Job Description Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking an Application Developer with an ACTIVE Secret Clearance to assist a federal client in the DC Metropolitan area. This candidate will be developing solutions on Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Excel Online. This job can be fully remote, but we prefer candidates in EST time zone to be in sync with our client meetings. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: Develop solutions on Office 365 - Teams, SharePoint, Forms, and Excel Online. Develop solutions on PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Pages. Develop websites, services and components using programing languages such as HTML, Java script, PHP, Drupal. Write stored procedures, functions, scripts, and views with extensive use of T-SQL, programming in support of major application enhancements. Support the development of financial models and perform financial analyses and recommend appropriate strategies and requirements. Perform SQL Server administration activities (backup, restore, DBCC commands, indexing). Perform exploratory and explanatory data analysis. Ability to use frameworks such as cost-benefit analysis and risk-reward. This is a client-facing position and requires someone with strong and clear communication and the ability to set expectations. Perform essential project management requirements such as gathering requirements with the ability to relay information back to the client to ensure clarity. Record risk and dependencies. Data visualization (e.g., create dashboards and reports using PowerBI). Manage timelines, milestones, and other essentials of project management. Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and recommend reporting capabilities that address client needs Collaborate with internal and external parties to transform high-level technical objectives into comprehensive technical requirements. Import, transform, and rationalize financial and non-financial data from various source systems. Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute technologies. Take on technical leadership responsibilities of database projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related field) from a four-year college or university. Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED. Project Management experience preferred. Experience in data analysis, can find relationships between dataset, uses exploratory and explanatory data analysis, uses simple framework such as cost-benefit, risk-reward. Experience in data management, knows how to do data basic wrangling, data integration, knows how to manage data quality, knows how to perform ETLs/ELTs extract-transform-load. Experience in data visualization, knows how to create dashboards and reports using PowerBI or similar viz tools. Understands data security concepts such as data classification (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). Experience in cloud tools, specifically Azure, (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps). Experience in using Power platform, PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI. Experience in Office 365, (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint). Experience in using SQL, data warehousing a plus. Experience in web development, e.g., html, JavaScript, PHP, Drupal a plus. Strong communication skills. This is a full-time position. This position is W-2 only; no C2C or 1099 candidates. Must be a U.S Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance. We cannot sponsor a new clearance at this time.
