Manager of E-Commerce and Web Strategy
The manager of E-commerce and Web Strategy is responsible for developing and leading the e-commerce platform's growth, optimizing the web experience, and driving online revenue by integrating marketing strategies, customer experience, and technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e- commerce best practices, web development, analytics, and digital marketing.
Compensation: Starting hourly rate $110 depending on overall experience.

The manager of E-commerce and Web Strategy is responsible for developing and leading the e-commerce platform's growth, optimizing the web experience, and driving online revenue by integrating marketing strategies, customer experience, and technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of e- commerce best practices, web development, analytics, and digital marketing.

Job Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive online revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, IT, product, etc.) to align online strategies with business goals.
- Lead and oversee web design, development, and ongoing optimization for enhanced user experience.
- Analyze trends in e-commerce, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement new technologies.
- In partnership with Carriage's existing website partner, optimize Carriage's field businesses e-commerce strategy, ensuring functionality, scalability, and performance.
- Oversee product listings, navigation, and merchandising to maximize conversions.
- Work with third-party vendors, agencies, and development teams to improve platform performance and integrate new features.
- Lead efforts to enhance site architecture, user experience, and mobile responsiveness regarding the e-commerce experience.
- Implement SEO strategies, content optimization, and A/B testing to drive traffic and improve site performance.
- Monitor and analyze website performance, user behavior, and conversion metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Work closely with the marketing team to integrate e-commerce strategies with digital marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising, into the overall web strategy.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging and experience across all online platforms.
- Use data-driven insights to refine digital marketing efforts and improve ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and web strategy.
- Proven track record of driving e-commerce growth and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce).
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, UX/UI, web analytics (Google Analytics, etc.), and conversion optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the e-commerce landscape.
