The Director of Internal Communications is an integral leader within a high-impact global Communications team, focused on creating and executing executive and internal communications. This role is a trusted partner to senior leaders and develops integrated and strategic communications that engage and activate employees and other stakeholders to drive business results. This role has an impact on company performance and culture through developing and delivering effective communications in coordination with teams across the organization. What Youll Do: Identify and analyze business and employee needs to create effective communication strategies and execute them across a range of communication channels. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders providing counsel and developing communications strategies that drive employee understanding of business priorities. Lead the development of compelling communication materials including strategy documentation, leader presentations and talking points, video scripting, intranet content, newsletters, and company meeting content. Leverage tools to monitor and measure communications effectiveness to foster continuous improvement for employee engagement. Assist senior leaders with thought leader platforms including global town halls, partner events, external presentations, press opportunities, etc. Build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders to better develop, coordinate, direct and facilitate strategic communications designed to meet business goals and enable best practice sharing across the enterprise. Other projects and responsibilities as needed to support Communications team contribution to business priorities.

What Were Looking For: Bachelors degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, etc.) required; advanced degree preferred Bachelors degree required, preferably in communications, Journalism, or a related field. Masters degree in communication preferred. 8+ years of progressive experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or related fields. Superior communication skills including strong writing, strategic and clear thinking, and presentation development. Ability to effectively influence and communicate at all levels of the organization. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills within established business priorities and in budget. Experience in managing complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to deal with highly confidential information and sensitive matters. Proven proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), media monitoring, and listening tools.
