Mass General Brigham is expanding support for the research community and seeking an Applications Analyst. The Applications Analyst II provides end user and systems validation support for MGB Digital Research Operation's Data Management and Integrity Tools, including: LabArchives, StudyTRAX, Adobe, GitLab and additional research focused applications. More info on our website: https://rc.partners.org/research-apps-and-services/collect-data Qualifications: Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Trains end users on how to access software applications. Develops end user documentation. Provides ongoing support of the software applications by identifying and resolving issues and escalating as needed for timely resolution. Provides high quality, customer-focused services. Runs reports, updates tables and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment. Participates in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues and updates. Works closely with Regulatory Compliance & Education, Application Service Managers & other technology teams to contribute to the testing effort for application, integration, and interface testing. Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks. Uses the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required 5+ years of healthcare information technology experience, software engineering, software quality assurance, or equivalent related experience Fundamental programming skills required, experience with PHP, RoR, or mySQL a plus A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements

Skills/Abilities/Competencies: Experience in the development, support or operation of software applications in a healthcare setting Previous experience performing application testing Experience with test case management and defect tracking Experience with validation of applications used in an FDA-regulated environment highly desired Experience with automation testing, Cypress testing framework, and Gherkin syntax highly desired Knowledge of Microsoft ADO Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staff Demonstrated analytic and problem-solving skills Ability to learn quickly Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions
