What you'll do
As a Director, SAP Solutions Architecture, you'll oversee the design and delivery of an ECC to SAP Central Finance/S4 migration programme for National Grid. You'll be responsible for chairing the design authority and leading a wider program architecture team, ensuring alignment with the business objectives, technical standards, and best practices. You'll also be the main point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing guidance, direction, and governance throughout the programme lifecycle. Key responsibilities include the following:
Lead the design authority and ensure that the programme architecture is aligned with the wider National Grid business objectives, technical standards, and best practices Collaborate with the selected 3rd party SI (System Integrator) who will be delivering the technical implementation capability, ensuring close alignment between teams but also questioning and ratifying design decisions with NG's best interests in mind Lead and manage a wider programme architecture team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance management Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, acting as the main point of contact for all architecture-related matters Provide guidance, direction, and governance throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring that the programme delivers the expected outcomes and benefits Identify and manage programme architecture risks, issues, dependencies, and changes Ensure that the programme architecture is documented, communicated, and maintained in accordance with the programme governance framework Contribute to the continuous improvement of the programme architecture processes, methods, and tools About you
A relevant degree or certification in a technical based discipline Extensive experience in SAP S4 implementation programmes, with a proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale solutions Strong knowledge of SAP S4 architecture, design, and integration principles, as well as the latest trends and innovations in the SAP S4 domain Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders Analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance conflicting requirements and trade-offs Strong attention to detail, quality, and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliverables

Dowstate NY $212,000 - $249,000 a year
Massachusetts $197,000 - $232,000 a year
Salary is commensurate with experience and location
