Job Description

Agilent's Mass Spectrometry Division holds the largest installed base of mass spectrometers in the industry. Our Mass Spectrometry software applications satisfy fast-growing scientific markets ranging from biopharmaceuticals to food safety. You will be part of our Software Engineering team managing software builds and installations centered on our goal of delivering a unified customer experience by integrating with the OpenLab platform. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, innovative, and passionate about delivering world-class software and likes to work in a fast-paced environment. As the successful candidate for this position, you will join an exciting team in a key position with the following responsibilities: Build and manage infrastructure to compile code and create installers for our software products Automate build process developing scripts using MSBuild, Shell, Groovy, and Python. Monitor builds, and work with developers to resolve issues Collaborate with other specialists to develop and automate processes for building code, creating installers, and deploying on test environments. Work with IT to build and maintain infrastructure for build and test environments Perform static code analysis to identify quality, and security vulnerabilities and work with developers to resolve them Location : Candidate must be commutable to be onsite at the Santa Clara location. Qualifications

B.S in computer science or equivalent. 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas of development, build, and release engineering 2-5 years of experience with scripting using MSBuild, Shell, Groovy, Python. Experience with WIX packaging/installation. Experience with Nuget packing or similar. Experience with distributed version control systems such as GIT, Clearcase, SVN Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket Experience with setting up pipelines - Writing Jenkins scripts to build, install, and run smoke/automated tests Experience managing virtual environments Experience with globalization especially with SDL Passolo or similar Experience or willingness to work in Agile environments Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (C#/WPF/MVVM) is highly desirable Knowledge of cyber security scan tools like Coverity, Blackduck and generating SBOM is highly desirable #LI-SM1 Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $163,008.00 - $254,700.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
