We are on the hunt for a Permanent Senior Accountant to join our Accounting + Finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional attention to detail, and has a knack for financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the industry and a proven track record of success in financial audits or financial reporting. Responsibilities:As a Permanent Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing month-end closing procedures including accruals, bank reconciliations, and cut-off procedures.2. Preparing accurate and timely financial statements.3. Performing financial analysis/flux analysis.4. Reconciling General Ledger accounts.5. Tracking inventory, fixed assets, and construction in progress.6. Assisting with financial audits, property tax audits, and 1099 filings.7. Creating financial data schedules for third parties such as auditors and tax teams.8. Maintaining an organized and efficient filing system for all our documents and schedules.9. CPA license preferred but not required for consideration.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you will need:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in financial audits or financial reporting.2. Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.3. Experience with month-end closing procedures such as accruals, bank reconciliations, cut off procedures, etc.4. Experience in preparing financial statements and performing financial analysis/flux analysis.5. Experience in reconciliation of GL accounts.6. Knowledge in inventory, fixed assets, and construction in progress tracking.7. Experience assisting with financial audits, property tax audits, and 1099 filings.8. Experience in creating financial data schedules for third parties such as auditors, tax teams, etc.9. High organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain permanent files of our documents and schedules.10.
