The

Graphic Designer

will play a key role in creating visually engaging marketing materials for Wilderness Resorts and Waterparks. Working closely with other marketing team members, this position will design and produce high-quality graphics for digital, print, and social media platforms. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for maintaining brand consistency, developing creative concepts, and executing design projects across a variety of mediums. This role requires a strong eye for design, proficiency in industry-standard design tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to deliver visually compelling content that supports business objectives. In addition to design work, the role will include assisting with photoshoots by supporting the photography team during shoots, ensuring that the creative vision is met, and capturing high-quality images that align with the brand's objectives.

Essential duties and tasks of the position include but are not limited:

Design & Advertising Creation:

Create and execute print and digital advertisements for Wilderness Resort and related companies.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with internal departments (Food & Beverage, Retail, Guest Services, Aquatics, Attractions, Conference Center, Golf, and general resort operations) to develop communications, advertising, photography, and point-of-sale materials.

Photography & Video Support:

Assist with photo and video acquisition for marketing and promotional content.

Campaign & Branding Development:

Participate in creating marketing campaigns, artistic elements, branding, and signage for resort-wide initiatives.

Trend & Best Practice Monitoring:

Stay up to date with the latest creative marketing trends and insights across all media forms.

Social Media Content:

Assist with the creation and production of social media content design, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

Website Support:

Assist with simple website updates and content management as directed.

Pre-Press Knowledge:

Be familiar with pre-press requirements and liaise with print vendors to ensure accurate print production.

Quality Assurance:

Consistently review existing marketing materials to ensure accuracy , consistency, and relevance in messaging.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of WordPress is preferred.

Additional Duties:

Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Department Manager.

Strong creative design skills, with the ability to maintain brand integrity across all materials. Ability to work independently, efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. A general understanding of resort operations (including hospitality, dining, attractions, guest services, and retail) is beneficial. Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in creative or communication discipline or several years related experience. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint). Wilderness Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer
