We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team, reporting to our Manager, Technical Program Management, to manage the execution of highly visible, cross-team datacenter bringup projects. In this role, you will take ownership of project plans, working closely with technical program managers to implement detailed timelines, track dependencies, and ensure seamless execution. This is a critical role requiring expertise in project planning, critical path management, and cross-functional collaboration for large-scale, complex projects.
Responsibilities:
Define, build and execute comprehensive project plans for delivery projects, ensuring timelines, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables are clearly defined and tracked Identify, track, and manage critical paths and dependencies to ensure on-time project delivery Collaborate with engineering, dc operations, and other internal teams to drive alignment on deliverables, resource needs, and project timelines Serve as the point of contact for project-level updates, ensuring clear, concise, and consistent communication with stakeholders and technical program managers Proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track and escalate issues as needed to ensure resolution Monitor project progress using key metrics and provide actionable insights through regular reports and dashboards Follow established frameworks, templates, and processes to maintain consistency across all datacenter projects Provide feedback to refine project management templates and tools, driving efficiency in future project executions Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of project progress and challenges Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure project success and effectiveness Requirements:
5+ years of experience in technical project management or a similar role managing highly visible, complex projects Strong familiarity with project management principles, critical path analysis, and dependency management The agility to navigate and excel in a fast-evolving landscape, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to shifting priorities and demands Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira or similar platforms Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey multi-faceted plans and technical information in a clear and concise manner Familiar with the basic components of modern computers, virtual machines and hypervisors, networking, and infrastructure Preferred:
Experience with large-scale datacenter bringup projects Familiarity with infrastructure or hardware deployment processes Certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or similar Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000-$130,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
