Lourdes University seeks an entrepreneurial, experienced, and people-oriented finance leader to partner with the President and his senior leadership team to develop and implement plans, processes, and procedures that ensure the financial sustainability of the University and the legacy of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania. The CFO/Vice President for Finance and Administration (CFO/VPFA) will join a highly engaged senior leadership team that is committed to the mission of the University and to working together to see that Lourdes University continues to offer an impactful educational experience to students and a supportive work environment to faculty and staff.

Requirements

The primary responsibility of the CFO/VPFA is to plan, direct, and monitor the business operations and operational activities of the financial functions for Lourdes in the promotion and fulfillment of its mission and vision. This will include providing leadership and oversight to the functions and activities related to Finance & Treasury, Debt Financing, General Accounting, Capital Projects, and Human Resources. The CFO/VPFA will also oversee all Auxiliary Services at Lourdes University including the Franciscan Center, a full-service state-of-the-art theatre and conference center located on the Lourdes University Campus. The CFO/VPFA reports directly to the President and is a member of the President's Cabinet.

Some of the expected qualifications for the next CFO/VPFA include:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field is required; MBA, CPA or CMA is highly preferred.

•10 Years of Finance/Accounting experience are required.

•Significant experience in higher education finance is required.

•Considerable experience in fiscal management of a large organization; at least 5 years of experience in a management role.
