Position Overview:
J-U-B is recruiting a
Multimedia Graphic Designer
to work with our corporate Creative Team. Our Creative Team is made up of storytellers with a united purpose. They work cross-functionally to convey J-U-B to the public, thought leaders, prospective clients and employees. From media relations to internal message building, they tell J-U-B's story and purpose: Helping Others Create Better Communities. Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Communications Manager and working with the creative team, the Multimedia Graphic Designer serves as a key member of the Creative Team developing content for a variety of platforms, including our website, social media, client projects, and print communications.
With a strong capability in graphic design, the ideal candidate will find compelling ways to create and disseminate content that bolsters J-U-B's company reputation of quality work performed by experienced professionals. Each piece will be crafted to reflect J-U-B's commitment to integrity, innovation, and expertise, ensuring that all visuals consistently reinforce the company's brand identity and message across platforms.
Graphic design for corporate collateral, marketing, graphics, social media, and various technical disciplines. This includes but is not limited to long document layouts, PowerPoint presentations, story boards, covers/dividers, marketing collateral/brochures, illustrations, interactive PDFs, ads, maps, project collateral, various print materials and digital media. The designer will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and contributing to an efficient workflow within the Creative Team to meet the demands of diverse platforms and audiences.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum of 3+ years of graphic design experience is required. Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field preferred. Experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) industry is a plus. Proven track record in social media content development and brand consistency. Experience in long document design and layout in Adobe InDesign is required Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro); additional multimedia tools are a plus. o Specific proficiency in Illustrator: strong skills with the pen tool, creating icons, infographics, and vector graphics manipulation. Experience in website design/development; WordPress and HTML knowledge are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), especially in designing presentations with PowerPoint. Basic retouching and editing skills; able to adjust raw files in Photoshop and Lightroom. Portfolio showcasing a range of design skills across various platforms is required for consideration. Design Knowledge
Solid understanding of foundational graphic design principles (e.g., typography, alignment, balance, visual hierarchy, color theory). Experience in working within established brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual identity. Expertise in complex layouts for long documents, multi-page publications, and technical presentations, ensuring clear hierarchy and readability. Familiarity with requirements for both digital and print design, including color modes, resolution standards and file preparation. Soft Skills
Self-motivated and able to work efficiently and independently with limited supervision. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrates a proactive approach to gathering information and taking direction from the Communications Manager, technical staff, and project managers. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while maintaining focus on brand standards and visual consistency. Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually,
determined by experience and/or education.
