SOFTWARE DEVELOPER | HYBRID (SAN FRANCISCO, CA) The Select Group is looking for a talented Software Developer to join one of our top biotechnology partners. This person will support their assay configuration packaging project, which involves developing and maintaining software systems for the configuration and packaging of laboratory assays, configuration of assays, managing database interactions, and creating APIs to support assay updates and packaging processes. Additionally, the role includes releasing new assay configurations, implementing version control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for clinical and research applications.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS
5-8 years of backend experience with Java 8+, Spring, and Hibernate 5-8 years of full stack experience with Angular, UI, Java 8+, Spring, and Hibernate Knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc. Experience working within an Agile methodology Full stack development experience with Angular and UI Bonus skill: Backend experience with assay configuration packaging in the life sciences/lab
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES
Propose, design and document the solutions for the feature and to the given problem statement. Collaborate, negotiate and influence direction and decision making to deliver quality solutions. Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle. Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Document and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Prepare and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming. Update job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities. Accomplish engineering and organizational mission by completing related results as needed. Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
