Job Summary
Client is looking for a talented Software Developer to join one of our top biotechnology partners. This person will support their assay configuration packaging project, which involves developing and maintaining software systems for the configuration and packaging of laboratory assays, managing database interactions, and creating APIs to support assay updates and packaging processes. Additionally, the role includes releasing new assay configurations, implementing version control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for clinical and research applications.
Key Responsibilities
•Propose, design and document solutions for the feature and problem statement.
•Collaborate, negotiate, and influence decision-making to deliver quality solutions.
•Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development lifecycle.
•Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
•Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
•Design system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.
•Stay updated by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and participating in educational opportunities.
•Support software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
•Complete related results to accomplish engineering and organizational missions.
Required Qualifications
•5-8 years of backend experience with Java 8+, Spring, and Hibernate.
•5-8 years of full-stack experience with Angular, UI, Java 8+, Spring, and Hibernate.
•Knowledge of databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.).
•Experience working within an Agile methodology.
•Full-stack development experience with Angular and UI.
Preferred Qualifications
•Backend experience with assay configuration packaging in the life sciences/lab industry.
