Position Summary:

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of marketing, community education and new business development. Maintaining and fostering relationships with customers and referral sources. Responding to customer requests and concerns and negotiating service contracts.

Oversees the liaison team, while serving on the leadership team. This position will play a significant role in growth of the program by implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

Associates degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field Excellent oral and written skills Ability to develop community relationships and partnerships Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and others as needed Excellent interpersonal skills Must be goal and detail oriented Ability to work both independently and with others Supervisory experience At least 3 years’ experience in health care preferably hospice Job Duties:

Generates referrals by building relationships with physicians, long term care organizations, independent and assisted living facilities and other community resources. Conducts market analysis; develop sales strategy, goals and plans. Conducts sales calls, and evaluates results and effectiveness of sales activity Support business development activities and help establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources. Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections. Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections. Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Grace Hospice. Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs in collaboration with the CEO and leadership team Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the Hospice markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning. Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources for individuals who do not meet Hospice eligibility criteria. Assists with third party reimbursement service contracts with managed care organizations, government agencies, long term care facilities and other payers in collaboration with the CEO Support, mentor, educate and supervise the liaison team Other tasks as assigned by the CEO

Completes all required on line training modules and other training as required in a timely manner.

Physical Requirements:

Able to perform medium work including pushing/pulling, exerting up to 10 pounds frequently, to 35 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force rarely.
