Job Summary:

Clear Spring Health is in search of a Document Specialist to support its Ancillary Health division. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a team-centric attitude, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role will consist of reviewing, editing, cataloguing and publishing policy contract documents within strict deadlines. The Document Specialist will work closely with management and should have a professional demeanor, as well as being motivated to complete required tasks independently. Applicants must possess the ability to comprehend contract language. A strong writing/editing background is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Revise approved policy documents in accordance with evolving regulatory requirements. • Ensure accuracy of all client-facing forms, notices, certificates, applications and policies. • Catalogue all document versions. • Accommodate unique requirements for each book of business and policy type. • Effectively communicate with internal and external teams. • Utilize time-management skills and attend regular program meetings. • Communicate regularly with offshore team of ESL speakers.

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, Rhetoric and Composition, or similar. • 5+ years of academic writing, proofreading, or technical editing experience. • Strong attention to detail. • Aptitude for contract language. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong collaboration skills. • High level of professionalism.
