Overview
Nakupuna Federal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing support to Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP)’s transformation initiatives across their enterprise. This individual will support senior leadership and a project team to solve and streamline organizational business problems, analyze data and propose recommendations, and develop & track key metrics and performance indicators.
Responsibilities The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
Management may assign additional duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.
Integrate in team environment researching, data gathering, reporting/briefing, developing strategies.
Coordinate and assist with preparation and submission of contract deliverables.
Conduct project planning and develop/maintain execution schedule.
Define processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
Develop reporting formats for tracking project progress (e.g., actual vs. planned completions, rework statistics, productivity rates, etc.) and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency.
Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
Resolving issues that arise during development.
Qualifications Skills/Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience with data analytics and Navy Supply. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles and has demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills
Preferred: Knowledge of management and operations of Navy Supply.
Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems is desirable.
Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint (experience with Microsoft SharePoint is desired ;
experience with data analytics tools preferred.
Experience:
At least five (5) years of experience as an analyst of which at least 3 years must be specialized in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
Education:
BS or BA degree are required. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
Location:
Mechanicsburg, PA or Philadelphia, PA; remote applicants will be considered if willing to travel ~60-70%.
Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job

Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers.
Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
