Overview
Nakupuna Federal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team of talented consultants providing support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA)'s efforts to establish an enterprise sustainment organization. This individual will support senior leadership and a project team to help establish and structure the new organization, analyze data and propose recommendations, and develop & track key metrics and performance indicators.

Qualifications
Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate possesses expertise and experience with data analytics and Naval Sustainment. Specifically, the ideal candidate will be familiar with and have experience with the following technical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience: At least five (5) years of experience as an analyst of which at least 3 years must be specialized in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
Education: BS or BA degree are required. An AS or AA degree and an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS or an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BA/BS.
Location: DC Metro Area; Remote candidates will be considered if willing to travel 60-70%
Clearance Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements, and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $90,000.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.

- Integrate in team environment researching, data gathering, reporting/briefing, developing strategies.
- Coordinate and assist with preparation and submission of contract deliverables.
- Conduct project planning and develop/maintain execution schedule.
- Define processes and procedures governing effective/efficient project execution.
- Develop reporting formats for tracking project progress (e.g., actual vs. planned completions, rework statistics, productivity rates, etc.) and ensure timely submission of completed reports at client specified frequency.
- Keep Nakupuna leadership abreast of project execution, and any issues (e.g., production, equipment/facilities, manpower, etc.) of potential impact to achievement of client requirements/deliverables or requirements exceeding defined scope of work.
- Resolving issues that arise during development.
Qualifications

- Experience developing and applying analytic methodologies and principles and has demonstrated managerial and supervisory skills
- Preferred: Knowledge of management and operations of Naval Sustainment.
- Experience performing complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, communication techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems is desirable.
- Experience using advanced features of Microsoft PowerPoint (experience with Microsoft SharePoint is desired; experience with data analytics tools preferred.
