As The Strategic Account Manager - Home Depot Pro...
You will be responsible for driving the James Hardie exteriors and interiors business through the customer's professional channel. The Strategic Account Manager will assist in the development and execution of strategic plans to drive sales and profitability in addition to improving the pro customer's experience and will also oversee the execution of all Pro events.
What You'll Do:
Assist the THD Sales Team to shape, manage, and drive our Interiors and Exteriors strategy in the customer's professional channel in partnership with internal and external stakeholders Build strategic relationships and maintain communication frequencies with Home Depot Pro Merchandising team and Field Leadership for both inside and outside Pro sales Evaluating our existing product plan and identifying initiatives that will drive incremental sales through all relevant channels including Stores, Flatbed Delivery Centers, Special Order and Multi-Family/Direct Manage assortments across Pro channels including FDC & Special Order in conjunction with internal and external cross-functional teams Own the planning, scheduling and successful execution of all THD Pro events throughout the year Understand key business metrics using a Dashboard for both James Hardie and The Home Depot Pro to be able to deliver mutually beneficial tactical adjustments to deliver on joint business plan targets Work with Retail Trainer to develop and deploy efforts to build sales team skills in JH fundamentals, value prop, offering, how to sell/convert/drive-step-up, and provide business insights and feedback on trends Strong peer to peer leadership with James Hardie finance, marketing, product management, supply chain, and HR to drive full cross functional execution and delivery against our strategy and tactical initiatives to deliver it Ensuring the James Hardie value proposition in both departments is understood within The Home Depot Pro channel by shaping our strategy/message via communication to key leaders and decision makers Leads category management expertise to Pro channel at The Home Depot as it relates to why JH, product assortments, merchandising, marketing, and business trends in the James Hardie Product Portfolio What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline required 3+ years' experience in account responsibility preferred 1+ year experience in Pro sales, especially in the retail segment preferred Events coordination and planning experience required Home Depot sales experience highly preferred. Motivated self-starter with strong leadership, problem-solving, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills Aptitude to analyze results and make recommendations Experience utilizing a CRM In-depth understanding of critical KPI's in retail-sales platforms, Big Box Retail, the participants, and the go to market strategy. Retail experience with premium brands, Pro-centric brands would be a plus Demonstrated history of product commercialization, presentation skills with big box/retail/Pro customers Ability to travel an average of 50-60% What You'll Receive:
