Data Analyst - Business Intelligence Job at Permian Resources in Midland

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Data Analyst in Midland, TX. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data & Analytics, the Data Analyst will be an integrated member of the Data & Analytics Team responsible for providing data visualization support to all the business teams at Permian Resources.

General Responsibilities

• Help optimize, update, and maintain a variety of Spotfire reports/dashboards
• Analyze datasets to help with KPIs, benchmarking and finding business improvements
• Meet and work with the business teams to help with reports, dashboards, and other analytics projects.
• Create and manage corporate BI projects
• Train the user community on our BI tools
• Deploy required data queries and models to help with business user needs
• Experience in communicating, knowledge sharing and presenting analytic findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Proven oil and gas experience with Spotfire and/or PowerBI
• BS/BA in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R or other similar languages
• Experience visualizing & presenting data for stakeholders
• Great problem solving and analytical skills
• Must be self-motivated and capable of independently integrating within multi-disciplinary teams
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
