We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the service industry, located in Irving, Texas. This role involves consolidating and reporting financial results in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Practices in the United States (US GAAP), as well as preparing financial statements footnotes. The successful candidate will also lead the preparation of US GAAP consolidated financial statements for North America.
Responsibilities:
• Consolidate and report financial results following IFRS and US GAAP guidelines
• Prepare footnotes for financial statements
• Lead the preparation of US GAAP consolidated financial statements for North America
• Write technical memorandums to support North America's accounting positions
• Review monthly financials and provide support for the accounting department on complex transactions
• Conduct checks on intercompany accounts, IFRS and US GAAP adjustments, and submissions
• Perform various consolidation tasks during month-end
• Research and provide technical accounting guidance
• Prepare global/NAM IFRS and US GAAP reporting package for lender compliance reporting
• Collaborate with the accounting teams on process improvements
• Generate monthly reports based on ad-hoc requests and present this information to key stakeholders• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the service industry
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable
• Familiarity with BlackLine software
• Knowledge of Concur software
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage all accounting functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Proven auditing skills
• Experience in managing billing functions
