Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Accounting Clerk in the Butler area

Position Summary:
Responsible for providing accounting support within the Accounting department by researching and gathering data from both the billing and accounting software according to Accounting department timeframes.
This full-time position works a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm with weekends off!
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
•High School Diploma/GED
•Proficient with accounting or billing software
•Ability to cooperate with other employees and also be able to work independently when needed
•Detail-oriented with the ability to assimilate large volume of data from various sources
•Accuracy entering data into computer systems
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred:
•Associate Degree in Accounting or related field
•One (1) year experience in Bookkeeping/Accounting •Proficient with the Micro Information Processing (MIP) or Unicentric ServicExpert systems
•Knowledge of Excel Pivot Tables
