About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP, Accounting to join its dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the monthly financial close of foreign subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and conducting foreign jurisdiction quarterly tax filings. This role also involves engaging with third-party accounting firms, assisting with cash flow budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating on annual audits and tax return preparations. The ideal candidate should have a BS in accounting or a related field, 7-10 years of solid corporate accounting experience, and a preference for public-private experience. While a CPA is desirable, it is not essential. Strong technical abilities, including advanced MS Office and Excel skills, are required, as is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and multitasking approach in a fast-paced environment. The VP, Accounting will work closely with the Payroll Manager on quarterly filings, annual payroll, and benefit reconciliations. The role is well-suited to a professional with prior supervisory experience, and a background in international business, real estate, or private equity is advantageous.
