Summary

PlayCore is seeking a highly motivated technical resource to join our ERP implementation team as a Business Systems Analyst, focused primarily on the operations management and accounting aspects of the ERP system. The analyst not only supports internal clients providing expertise and guidance, they also assist the Corporate IT staff in understanding the group's operational needs for both automated and manual solutions to business systems and procedures. The analyst is involved in planning, organizing, and conducting detailed analytical studies to define problems, identify deficiencies and improve solutions which impact the group's effectiveness, and provide the basis for issue resolution. This position is responsible for executing the system definition and design processes through collaboration with users to define business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities to achieve process improvements.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promotes the Company's mission and values-based culture through dedicated service and support of the SFC Group's use of Microsoft Dynamics D365/AX (Dynamics)
  • Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements
  • Identifies opportunities to improve the utilization, acceptance and adoption of Dynamics
  • Defines/prototypes enhancement requirements for reports and business processes/forms etc. for developers
  • Provides ongoing training, general guidance, reference material, and procedural guides for end users
  • Prepares and executes enhancement testing plans for acceptance and accuracy
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses system issues for users on-site. Addresses complaints, resolves problems, and instructs users on corrective actions.
  • Applies working knowledge of SQL programming language, as well as technical knowledge of connecting to and manipulating relational databases, extracting data, and writing/modifying business intelligence and other systems reports.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor
  • Openness to travel throughout software implementation projects

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Finance or related field and 3-5 years relevant work experience required
  • 3+ years of experience with ERP business systems and their mapping to Accounting General Ledger required
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, or higher, required

Preferred Skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, or higher
  • Manufacturing, Warehousing or Logistics Industry experience
  • Experience with Accounting Financial reporting
  • Experience with formal project management practices
  • Working SQL Query skills

Language Skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Other Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work well within a team and project environment.
  • Background must demonstrate the ability to operate effectively within a complex, dynamic environment.

Travel Expectations
  • This position may require up to 75% travel depending upon active project.
