Job Description

The Strategy Analyst uses strong business acumen and analytical expertise to support and bring actionable strategic insights to KFC Global's portfolio of business units (BMUs). This includes reviewing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from BMU inputs and consolidating BMU-level data into a division-level narratives for reporting. This role also performs strategic analysis on value-added business priorities to share with KFC Global leadership and drive overall brand results.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Franchisee and Enterprise Risk Manager (30%)
  • Perform annual franchisee financial health submission to Yum Franchising Office through collection of scorecards from the BMUs.
  • Compile quarterly large franchisee 3C update for Yum Audit Committee.
  • Compile and maintain list of franchisees with relevant performance metrics from each BMU.
  • Track and assess enterprise risks that impact the business and report on a quarterly basis.
Competitive Intelligence (30%)
  • Complete top competitor financial performance analysis vs KFC on a quarterly basis.
  • Consolidate market share data through partnership with BMUs and external data providers.
  • Research, monitor, and report competitive landscape quarterly.
  • Support the development and distribution of tactics to beat the competition and defend leading market position.
Strategic Planning and Analysis (40%)
  • Support Strategy Team in performing analysis as needed for growth initiatives, key meetings, and other ad hoc projects.
  • Ongoing evaluation of brand accelerators and big bets to inform resource prioritization.
The Ingredients You'll Need

Education/Certifications:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
Required Experience:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated success in collaborating with teams, strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Systems minded with the ability to improve processes and capabilities to derive insights.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in QSR or retail organization.
