ServiceNow Business Analyst Responsibilities
  • Should have a very good understanding of ServiceNow tool and ITBM functional knowledge.
  • Work with affected groups / impacted stakeholders to perform deep dives and discovery on the As-Is state of the ITBM System to allow for effective analysis by senior project team members and senior impacted stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and effectively communicate with impacted stakeholders to elicit ITBM requirements across Processes, Systems, Reporting, and Integrations.
  • Translates technical complexities to business owners to drive solutions.
  • Ensures the scrum team has a clear understanding of end-user stories to be developed in the system.
  • Develops use cases, process diagrams, and requirements documentation using stories and scrum tasks in ServiceNow.
  • Document and map current ITBM processes and perform gap analyses against desired or best practice, preferably using industry standard techniques and frameworks.
  • Communication and coordination between the relevant business owners and the agile development teams.
  • Be able to translate and clearly articulate business requirements to system developers and vice versa.
  • Perform gap analysis between the As-Is state and the To-Be state.
  • Extensive Business Analysis experience, working on Agile, Lean and Waterfall project.
  • Participates in sprint reviews by representing business owner's interests and coordinating with them to elicit feedback.
