Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) 3 (SATCOM)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Navy Multiband Terminal (NMT) Subject Matter Expert (SME) 3 must have a minimum of 3+ years of specialized NMT experience along with specialized Radio Frequency Communication Systems experience and demonstrate In-Service sustainment engineering functions (e.g. design, development, evaluation, testing, and maintenance) of electronic equipment and systems; support the Life Cycle requirements; and providing technical support for systems acquisition of Radio Frequency Communication Systems; capable of developing written instructions, procedures, schematics and other technical documentation; perform all duties unsupervised; As a SME provide the status of their assigned tasks via both prepared and ad hoc oral briefings to senior Navy personnel. 
REQUIRED SKILLS/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Prior knowledge working on the Extremely High Frequency (EHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Global Broadcast System (GBS), KA Band, Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) Processor (TIP), and Navy Multi-band Terminal (NMT) and C/X/KU/KA Band, Commercial Wideband Satellite Program (CWSP), Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) systems are required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Travel Required: 25%
Work Location: San Diego, CA

This position is required to have and maintain a Secret US DoD security clearance.

PREFERRED SKILLS
The SME 3 is desired to be capable of performing all duties unsupervised. The SME 3 is desired to provide the status of their assigned tasks via both prepared and ad hoc oral briefings to senior Navy personnel. Must be able to develop written instructions, procedures, schematics and other technical documentation.

REMARKS
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of technical and management personnel.

Compensation: $34 - $44 an hour.
Compensation for positions at Centurum vary depending on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, location, responsibilities, skill set, and level of experience.
