Assist the Director of Ringhaver Student Center in with providing event and operation services at the Student Center

Event Services
Must be a full-time Flagler College student
Previous work or volunteer experience that involved events
Previous work or volunteering experience that involved talking to customers in person

Responsibilities
Event Services
- Event technology set up/ tear down
- Event furniture set up/ tear down
- On-site assistance during events including troubleshooting technology, adjusting technology, hosting, adjusting event furniture, taking attendance, and oversight
- Providing campus event information to customers
- Providing general campus information to customers
- Checking out video game controllers
- Checking out group study room
- Stocking lounge equipment and counting attendance in lounges
- Patrolling building to report building and safety issues that need to be addressed
- Troubleshooting technology issues in the lounges
- Rearranging lounge furniture
- Submitting electronic shift report
- Opening tasks, including unlocking rooms, turning on lights, and putting out equipment into its proper location in the lounges
- Closing tasks, including locking rooms, turning off equipment, room schedule sheet changing, and putting away equipment
- Preparing lounge items and event items for storage
- Moving lounge items and event items into the correct location within storage areas
Must be a full-time Flagler College student
Previous work or volunteer experience that involved events
Previous work or volunteering experience that involved talking to customers in person
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to push carts full of equipment
- Walking or standing during events can last as long as 1 hour
- Some shifts include working outside events
