1st Shift Assembler Job Description Candidates will be responsible for assembling food manufacturing equipment by hand using air and hand tools. This role involves using screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, and other tools. Responsibilities include mechanical assembly of small-scale products for shipping, electrical wiring, and testing of parts in the roller grill department. Ensuring the production line meets its output requirements and being open to overtime as needed are also key aspects of this role. Responsibilities Assemble food manufacturing equipment using air and hand tools Use screwdrivers, drills, tape measures, and other tools Handle parts that generally weigh 10 lbs or less, with some parts up to 30 lbs Perform mechanical assembly of small-scale products for shipment Conduct electrical wiring and testing of parts in the roller grill department Ensure production line meets its output requirements Be open to overtime as needed Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, screwdrivers, crimpers, pliers) Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted Mechanical assembly and electrical assembly skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Blueprint reading skills for roller grill and higher assembly lines Previous assembly experience Experience with brake press machines Why Work Here? Employees can wear one earbud to listen to music and must follow a dress code of tasteful shirts and shorts, jeans, etc. No steel toe shoes are required. Job Type & Location This is position based out of Hicksville, Ohio.
