Assembler - CDP

Job Title: Assembler - CDP Job Description Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems. Responsible for wiring the power systems and assembling electrical components. Required to read schematics and engineering drawings for assembly and use hand and power tools, including power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure. This is a non-climate controlled environment, and the assembler will be required to stand for the entire shift. May also be required to stand on ladders for assembly, as units can reach the size of 8 feet in height. Responsibilities Manufacture and assemble industrial power systems Wire power systems and assemble electrical components Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings Utilize hand tools and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measure Stand for the entire shift and potentially stand on ladders for assembly of large units Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools Experience in wiring electrical components Ability to read a tape measure Must have a high school diploma or GED Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing is a plus Experience in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar industries is beneficial Why Work Here? This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that offers a pay raise, profit sharing, benefits, PTO, paid holidays, and 401k upon conversion to a permanent employee. Profit sharing bonuses are paid out quarterly and typically equal about $1 extra per hour. Benefits are provided immediately upon permanent conversion. Employees can learn various skills in the new facility, such as wiring, mechanical, welding, CNC machinery, electrical testing, and paint line. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
