POSITION SUMMARY The HRIS Analyst provides customer centric service by improved access and driving outcomes that delight our customers. The HRIS Analyst leverages technology to support Human Resource Information to research, analyze and maintain all systems and applications.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES
- Performs data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Functions as analytics and reporting analyst for the HR functions by developing standard reports and designing, running, and maintaining ad hoc queries.
- Provides support to other team members on how best to pull information and leverage the HR platform.
- Brings forth ideas and suggestions for report content, selection and report formats based on how data will be used.
- Prepares various reports for all levels of the organization on topics such as employment status, turnover, demographic information, performance reviews and job analysis.
- Defines and catalog reporting elements and ensures data quality and consistency in all deliverables.
- Develops a full and detailed understanding of all HR data available across the IDN, which includes all systems involved in data maintenance.
- Responsible for system security, using systems knowledge to keep data secure and organized based on approved security model.
- Assists with HRIS projects, testing and system configurations: responsibilities include test scripts development and execution, testing resources coordination and test completion metrics compilation.
- Manages and aids with ACA, end of year processing and payroll system accountabilities.
- Supports all HRIS systems (needs analysis, research, design, testing, quality control, deployment, training, and administration) and human resources end users in the use of HRIS applications and desktop tools (recruitment, personnel performance evaluation, and document management systems and software).
- Eager to learn and implement new systems, processes and configure analytic dashboards for organizational wide use.
- Actively identifying and resolving issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Education: Bachelor’s degree. • Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in HRIS reporting with blend of payroll, time/labor and HR Knowledge. • Licensure: None • Certification: None • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook, etc.). o Strong analytical/diagnostic skills with aptitude and passion for process improvement. o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Ability to research and analyze various types of data. o Strong attention to detail. o Unwavering confidentiality. o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Work Experience: Three (3) years’ experience with HR System Experience. • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: o Knowledge of multiple HR systems including Applicant Tracking System, Performance Management, and Human Capital Systems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. • Long periods of computer time or at workstation. • Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. • May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. • Communicating with others to exchange information. • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. • Workspace may vary from open to confined, onsite, or remote. • May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
