SUMMARY:
The HR Intern will support the HR team with compliance, training and development and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update company database (HRIS) by inputting new employee information and employment details.
- Help create job descriptions and postings.
- Pre-Screen and set up interviews.
- Assist with New Hire Orientations.
- Support preparation, delivery, and closure of Talent Development courses and programs. Advance Talent Development special projects such as improvement of a course registration process while adding a data analytics capability.
- Prepare Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.
- Assist with updating policies, procedures, handbooks, and special projects.
- Must be an upcoming Sophomore or above majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration or another related field.
- Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
