Summary:

The HR Intern will support the entire Human Resources department, gaining exposure to various areas through projects in benefits, compensation, recruiting, and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist with ongoing and new HR projects, focusing on benefits, compensation, training, recruiting, and HRIS.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, supporting Talent Acquisition.
  • Enter data and perform audits in the HRIS system.
  • Audit HR records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary contact for other Calamos interns, addressing questions and distributing relevant information.
  • Help coordinate events for the internship program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or MBA program. Rising Junior or Senior.
  • Demonstrated challenging curriculum with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
