The Talent Acquisition Specialist - Sales is responsible for partnering with hiring managers and external recruiters on all aspects of recruiting specifically for our Sales Team, particularly the New Home Sales Consultant roles. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting qualified candidates for open positions and assessing their relevant knowledge, experience, and culture fit. This role is responsible for leading organizational efforts on passive recruitment strategies for all open positions and overseeing the entire back-end process for requisitions including posting requisitions, managing interview scheduling, and tracking applicants within the ATS. The Talent Acquisition Specialist owns the candidate experience and must communicate in a timely manner to effectively minimize hiring time. Since this role is one of True Homes' primary contacts for new potential candidates, alignment with the aspired company culture is critical.
Responsibilities:
- Sources and recruits qualified candidates through active and passive recruiting methods through social media posts, resume mining, career fairs, college recruitment, community network events, job boards, special recruiting events, and other advertisements with a particular focus on New Home Sales Consultant roles.
- Leads passive recruiting efforts for all open positions by implementing various recruitment strategies across social media, resume databases, and other channels.
- Conducts intake calls with hiring managers to reviews the position guide, establish recruitment/interview schedules, and discuss recruitment strategies based on market needs.
- Posts new job positions on the Company website and other relevant job boards within 24 hours of receiving the approved requisition.
- Tracks and manages the recruiting process, ensuring that pre-established recruiting and hiring metrics are being met, with both internal hiring managers and external recruiters.
- Manages the ATS to track all applicant activity, ensuring timely updates and status changes.
- Schedules interviews, coordinates with candidates and hiring managers to arrange phone screens, on-site meetings, or video conferences.
- Manages and tracks recruitment metrics, ensuring alignment with productivity goals and ATS compliance.
- Generates weekly recruitment and Sales Pipeline reports for the team.
- Disqualifies and notifies rejected applicants within 48 hours.
- Handles any incoming inquiries from applicants, hiring managers, and staffing agencies regarding open positions and application status.
- Supports college recruiting efforts by working with hiring managers and executive partners to establish college and on-campus recruitment and hiring goals.
- Orders Caliper and Birkman assessments on candidates and conducts Caliper reviews as needed.
- Generate and sends offer letters to candidates.
- Conducts reference checks as needed
- Performs other duties as needed or required
- Posts position within 24 hours of receiving approved job requisition to Company website and applicable job boards
- Ensures that candidates move through the ATS daily
- Ensures that the recruitment and hiring process meet pre-established productivity metrics
- Ensure broad and diverse candidate pool is presented for all open requisitions
- Manages and maintains ATS so candidate status is up to date weekly
- Maintains strong, collaborative, and productive relationships with hiring managers, staffing agencies, and other strategic partners
- Follows up with hiring managers weekly to give a status on their open position
- Provides Recruiting Report and Sales Pipeline every Friday
- Responds to hiring managers' and candidates' inquiries within 24 hours
- Disqualifies and communicates to all rejected applicants and candidates within 48 hours of when a position is filled and signed offer letter is received or when a position is closed
- Follows up with interns throughout the program to foster a positive intern experience
- Executes the pre-established college and on-campus recruitment and hiring goals
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or two or more years of relevant work experience required
- Two years of recruiting experience
- Previous experience with an ATS, specifically Clear Company or UKG preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion and tact in handling sensitive information and data
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation for occasional travel within NC and SC
- Excellent attention to detail
