In this role, you will work alongside industry-leading engineers across New England on high-impact land development and site design projects, primarily serving private and public-sector clients. DUTIES AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed site design, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts
- Prepare stormwater management plans and calculations in compliance with regulations
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting and approvals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide technical expertise in land development and civil engineering practices
- Review and prepare engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Mentor junior staff and assist in their professional development
- Perform other tasks as needed
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- PE license preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience in site design and land development projects
- Proficiency in civil engineering software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
