To learn more about IHCDA visit us at www.in.gov/ihcda. Role Overview: The IHCDA Homeownership Department (HOD) seeks an individual for the position of Marketing Analyst Intern. The Marketing Analyst Intern will review the department’s outreach efforts and assist in creating outreach events, gathering data, and statistical support for the department. Salary Statement: The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 for those who do not hold a bachelor’s degree & $17.24 for those who hold a bachelor’s degree or higher by the time the internship starts. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows: Problem-solving and analytical understanding of statistics and data related to marketing; Technical skills and competency in using software like the Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI; Able to identify trends and generate insights by conducting routine analyses of the mortgage and real estate markets; Communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making or reporting; Recognize key metrics that can be utilized in the Homeownership Department dashboard; Assist in planning, organizing, and hosting any events held by the Homeownership Department; Review the current outreach efforts and make recommendations on opportunities and strengths; Aggregate all of the various work experiences that developed over the internship to present in a final presentation to the IHCDA Executives. What You'll Need for Success: Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate with an accredited post-secondary institution, preferably in Indiana, who is studying in the field of Marketing and/or Finance. Academic work in related field Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to analyze data sets related to discipline Ability to build relationships, establish credibility, and influence leaders at all levels Ability to conduct well-informed research Ability to solve complex, critical problems Ability to review and make recommendations on proposed changes to relevant policies and procedures Able to work well in a team environment and as part of a team Able to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals with diverse backgrounds, education, and economic levels Ability to maintain confidentiality Takes initiative and needs little supervision.
