Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building carpet cleaning box trucks from scratch, as well as other related products. This position involves drilling various parts and attaching them together. You will be expected to read blueprints and use both hand and power tools to construct the box part of the trucks. Candidates with experience in construction, mechanics, or mechanical assembly will be well-suited for this position. Responsibilities Drill and attach parts together to build carpet cleaning box trucks. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Use hand and power tools to construct the box part of the trucks. Utilize a jig to hold parts together for assembling the roof of the truck bed. Complete the assembly of one box frame within 40-50 hours. Essential Skills Mechanical assembly experience Proficiency in reading blueprints Experience with hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude Work Environment The position is for the day shift, running from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. The work involves mechanical assembly in a sheet metal job shop, using various hand and power tools. Expect a collaborative and hands-on work environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah.
