The Banquet Steward ensures the kitchen, machinery, and equipment are maintained in the most sanitary condition.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and silverware
- Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and prepare utensils
- Maintain safe work areas by attending to debris, boxes, equipment, etc
- Attend to all trash and recycling matters in kitchen areas
- Ensure clean floors, practicing safe methods while sweeping and mopping
- Safely store cleaned kitchen equipment in an organized manner
- Attend to other duties as assigned by management
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
