The Banquet Steward ensures the kitchen, machinery, and equipment are maintained in the most sanitary condition.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and silverware
  • Wash and sanitize pots, pans, and prepare utensils
  • Maintain safe work areas by attending to debris, boxes, equipment, etc
  • Attend to all trash and recycling matters in kitchen areas
  • Ensure clean floors, practicing safe methods while sweeping and mopping
  • Safely store cleaned kitchen equipment in an organized manner
  • Attend to other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
  • Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
  • Can safely lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
