Summary About the Position: As a Program Analyst you will support the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience and Readiness (DPRR) Senior Leader Engagement Team through large-scale initiatives and programs, located at the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. Relocation incentive MAY be authorized by IAW agency policy. Organization prefers resumes are no longer than five pages. Responsibilities Provide and/or coordinate high-quality analysis, assessments, and evaluations of complex issues and problems, and make recommendations to Army Senior Leadership. Develop comprehensive assessment to systemically measure the efficiency of programs and identifying basic deficiencies. Develop policy, implementation plans, orders and/or regulatory procedures. Provide authoritative advice on the development of requirements that establish resourcing of Prevention, Readiness and Resilience Programs. Attend conferences and may speak/brief and represent the DPRR Leadership at various functions. Respond to various Congressional inquiries; contribute to the creation of Congressional reports. Develop recommendations using problem-solving techniques to ensure optimum program achievements. Build and maintain positive relationships with key staff stakeholders in support of the DPRR mission. Use a variety of communication tools in support of the Director of Prevention, Resiliency, and Readiness (DPRR). Apply strategic thinking and work independently towards organizational and Army enterprise goals. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with analyzing Quality-of-Life programs for policy development; monitoring assigned tasks by working with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion; preparing briefings and/or facilitate meetings to senior leaders regarding resource, program and/or policy; assisting with the development of evaluation criteria to measure effectiveness of programs; and monitoring problems to develop recommendations to meet program goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and Management Decision Making Oral Communication Organizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
