About Our Client

Our client is a national, vertically integrated builder/developer of multifamily projects. Their typical project ranges from $100M to $200M. They have a strong presence here in the Mid-Atlantic with projects in DC, MD, & VA. They have a large-scale project coming up in the Maryland area and are seeking a Lead Superintendent to join their team.

Job Description

The Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Builder/Developer - MD will be responsible for:

• supervising the daily construction activities and quality control of all subcontractors.
• supervising the coordination of field efforts between trades to achieve a timely and profitable completion in strict accordance with contract documents and specifications, law and safety requirements.
• effectively communicating relevant project information to superiors.
• attending weekly subcontractor and owner/architect meetings.
• monitoring site safety protocols.
• tracking manpower and completing daily reports.
• assisting with quality control oversight.
• assisting with field office document control.
• assisting with creating look-ahead schedules.
• monitoring and tracking site deliveries.
• verifying all materials, equipment, and installation are in compliance with approved submittals and contract documents
• working in partnership with PM to maintain an updated and accurate project schedule that reflects the changes in project status and that meets the cost and time requirements of the project

The Successful Applicant

The Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Builder/Developer - MD will have:

• at least 3 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent
• overseen multiple large-scale multifamily projects (100+ units) from start to finish
• excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• strong organizational skills
