Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Senior Office Assistant will serve as an Interpreter for Clinical Services. The SOA will be responsible for preparing, maintaining and receiving records, logs and files as well as scheduling appointments and entering data.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Interpret for Clinical Services
  • Check patients in and out
  • Complete insurance verification and eligibility
  • Collect co-payments
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Fluent in both written and oral English and Spanish. Experience with Microsoft applications such as Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher. Customer service experience. Bilingual/Interpreter assessment must be passed pre-hire.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to organize work flow and coordinate activities
  • Possess ability to follow and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to make arithmetical calculations and set up forms and statistical tables
  • Ability to type at a reasonable rate of speed
  • Possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates and the general public
  • Knowledge of business English, spelling and arithmetic
  • Thorough knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment and office assistance techniques
