Prior local and state government years of service count toward calculating vacation accrual rate Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (after hours or weekends as necessary) The Information Technology Systems Administrator will have various server, network, and security related responsibilities and will support multiple locations. The position will include server and network administration and will handle escalations from both the IT Support Technician and IT Support Analyst, which will include working on tickets that require advanced troubleshooting skills. Primary Responsibilities: Implement, administer, and maintain hardware, software, programs, logins, accounts, disaster recovery and access to various computer systems Assist with administration of enterprise on premise and cloud servers including web servers and SQL servers Coordinate backup solutions for enterprise systems Complete escalated tickets from Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff Assist and provide additional technical support to helpdesk and other team members which includes mentoring and cross training Assist with managing, configuring and troubleshooting Active Directory (AD) Accounts, AD Infrastructure and Group Policies Manage Microsoft 365 Tenant, including Management of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Teams administration Support Networking Technologies which include Firewall management, DHCP, DNS, VLANs and hardware switching Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor's in Information Technology or related field preferred. Administration of Microsoft Window's computer operating systems, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Networking experience required. License: Valid NC driver's license. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of computers including PC hardware support, MS Windows client operation systems, word processing, spreadsheets and internet software Knowledge of scripting in PowerShell, .MSI Packaging and other automating technologies Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid, logical conclusions Possess ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form Our Mission To improve individual and community health through services, education, and collaborative action.
