Pay-
Position Summary:
ssists with administration of benefit programs, policies and associated systems. Regularly interface with employees, vendors and key stakeholders to resolve issues.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • ssists with administration of employee health and welfare policies and programs, including enrolments, changes, and terminations. Ensures accuracy of related records and documentation for qualifying event changes.
  • Ensures accuracy of all data entry into related systems and completes audits as needed to ensure data integrity. Develops and executes standard and ad-hoc reports as needed/requested.
  • Follows up on new-hire inquiries regarding benefits enrollment process.
  • Researches and resolves benefits issues through interactions with employees, vendors and providers.
  • Processes monthly benefits invoices, reconciliation and accruals.
  • Manages the HSA medical plan, including maintaining accurate funding data for Payroll, educating and supporting employees, trouble-shooting issues and regularly communicating program information
  • Monitors department service ticketing system to review and triage service requests/inquiries from employees. Addresses and/or assigns tickets to appropriate department team member
  • Generates semi-monthly benefit deduction reports, as well as quarterly time-off audit and reporting for payroll SOX audits.
  • Reviews weekly benefit file feed error reports and trouble shoots/resolves issues with vendors.
  • Participates in annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes.
  • May participate in completion of benefit-related surveys.
  • s requested, supports Workers' Compensation program, including claims submission, employee support and recordkeeping.
  • s requested, provides support for filing of state and government documents.
  • Provides back-up assistance for designated leave of absences.
  • Provides project support for various HR initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed
  • May assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5-7 years' related benefits and human resources experience.

Requires:
  • Experience with benefits administration and familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations.
  • Experience managing and maintaining complex HRIS, Workday experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in using the latest versions of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal/written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and high-level of attention to detail.
