- Professionally represent GH Phipps and effectively support Company strategic initiatives
- Establish and foster positive long-term relationships with internal customers and business partners
- Execute GH Phipps policies and procedures
- Embraces a lean culture and work environment
- Initiates purchase orders and work authorizations and codes them if requested by Superintendent
- Reviews project documents and maintains adherence to plans and specifications
- Reviews shop drawings for project coordination
- Supports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safety
- Completes reports as required in the Safety Manual
- Assists in full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs
- Assists with developing and reviewing JHAs
- Effectively assists with material delivery/procurement
- Assists in maintaining GH Phipps’ SDS program
- Implements GH Phipps’ Quality Assurance Program
- Assists with daily timekeeping and proper phase coding
- Assists supervisor in maintaining as-built drawings and specifications
- Assists in supervising specific subcontractors as directed by supervisor
- Assists with all aspects of job setup, project meetings, safety, record keeping, quality control, and close-out as directed
- Assists in coordinating project personnel activities to ensure the project progresses on schedule and within budget
- Walks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progress
- Assists craft with managing day to day tasks
- Assists with creating and managing weekly work plans
- Assists with production tracking of craft and subcontractors
- Assists with maintaining horizontal and vertical control
- Mentors and trains direct reports
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field preferred
EXPERIENCE
Up to four (4) years of general commercial construction experience required
SKILLS
- Proficient in CMiC
- Proficient in Bluebeam
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- OSHA 10 Certification is required
- Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills
- Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens
