St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Office Specialist VI. The Office Specialist VI is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Office of the Registrar.

For consideration, Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant work experience strongly preferred. Two or more years of office/clerical experience required. Preferred Qualification: Two or more years of related college or university experience strongly preferred. Knowledge and experience with transcripts, student records, computerized record keeping, and databases strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the production and proper dissemination of transcripts, and assist with enrollment verifications, letters of good standing, and degree verifications for current and former students.
  • Research and locate both computer and paper transcripts and records.
  • Review requests and respond to special requirements and needs.
  • Contact students who are not clear to receive transcripts or verifications.
  • Respond to requests for course descriptions.
  • Provide information, research problems, and assist (on the phone and in person) students with web-based registration, schedule adjustments, dates and deadlines, petitions, transfer work, graduation requirements, and other academic issues.
  • Provide and assist (on the phone and in person) faculty and staff with a variety of academic, registration, and grading information.
  • Provide information (on the phone and in person) and produce documents to verify current and former student academic information.
  • Responsible for regulatory and policy compliance as it applies to the position.
  • Perform other duties as required.
