TikTok Shops Supply Chain & Logistics is seeking experienced talents. The team is dedicated to innovating and streamlining TikTok Shop's transportation network and this pivotal role is at the forefront of shaping scalable and efficient transportation strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Establish logistics and supply chain sourcing strategies, negotiate with suppliers and execute contracts to optimize TikTok's competitive position and drive cost savings
- Publish and execute RFx activities aligned with TikTok's standards and processes and lead strategic sourcing activities to lower the overall total cost of ownership for TikTok Shop operations
- Manage implementation, scaling plan, enhancements and escalations with delivery partners in a timely matter
- Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities
- Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities
- Drive appropriate relationships with suppliers, with a principal objective enhancing collaboration, achieving the optimal solution business goals
- Drive category suppliers in Supplier Relationship Management activities to mitigate risk, improve performance and add value to TikTok
- Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category
Key Performance Indicators
- Earn the trust of key stakeholders to drive alignment with the business
- Execute category strategy set by the business in conjunction with internal customers to ensure there is a comprehensive, unified approach for the category.
- Achieve yearly cost saving or value targets appropriate to the category aligned with annual budget processes.
- Define and report on key metrics that measure effectiveness of supply and cost savings
- Champion standards and process improvements
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing and procurement operations experience in indirect categories
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of demonstrated analytical skills
- Experience in the e-commerce logistics industry negotiating with small parcel carriers and or logistics service providers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables at minimum)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Specific experience in driving process improvements in procurement
- Technical aptitude and familiarity with complex procurement systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large, complex datasets
