The Agriculture Data Specialist supports data collection and interpretation to serve clients of Eocene Environmental. The position works closely with Agronomists to understand individual farm data. This position is integral on the agriculture team to onboard and interpret a variety of data including but not limited to precision ag software, nutrient management plans, farm interviews, and other records. The position collaborates across the team to develop and deliver best in class environmental data outcomes for clients

Interpret data, onboard data, develop recommendations, and support clients Manage, evaluate, interpret, and store agronomic and livestock data Interpret state nutrient management plans Identify and communicate gaps in data and identify solutions for gaps Draw boundaries and utilize software and programs for aerial imagery Utilize a variety of precision ag and farm management software to obtain data Assist the agronomic team on project support Assist with recommendations based on the specific operation for operational benefits and environment improvements Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned or related OTHER DUTIES:

Position will require some outside travel JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Agronomy, Soil Science, Ag Systems Technology or a related field KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Course work in agricultural studies, soil science, agronomy, animal science and/or environmental science Keen eye for detail, time management skills, and ability to communicate with a variety of audiences Previous experience with mapping systems, such as GIS, or the ability to learn Experience with or desire to learn precision data platforms Ability to provide recommendations based on knowledge of the operation and data collected Ability to find and read NRCS guidelines and formulate recommendations based on guidelines Ability to work with a team of cross-functional experts in multiple locations Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience. Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
