Job Description:As an Events Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in helping us plan and execute spectacular events that leave a lasting impression. From corporate gatherings to community celebrations, you'll be right in the heart of the action, supporting our team every step of the way.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and attendees have a fantastic experience.
- Assist with event marketing efforts, including social media promotion and outreach to potential attendees.
- Manage event inventory and supplies, ensuring everything is stocked and ready for each event.
- Handle administrative tasks such as RSVP tracking, guest list management, and post-event follow-up.
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field preferred.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) in event planning, hospitality, or related roles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - nothing slips past you!
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software (experience with Cvent a plus!).
